intY - Giving back control

Case Study

intY was founded in 1997 in Bristol and is a leading cloud distributor.  The company has a simple mission – to provide its partners with the knowledge, resources and support they need to truly reap the benefits of selling cloud solutions.

Being held hostage

While intY was busy focussing on the support they offered their partners, their own website wasn’t receiving the same kind of care and attention.

Unfortunately for intY, the agency they had been working with was no longer providing the right level of support and the site they had built was not performing as it should. The backend of the site had become very slow and so was the speed of support they were receiving. This resulted in the marketing team spending large amounts of time trying to design and create new pages and content for themselves.

The intY team no longer had full control of their site and was being held to ransom by their agency.

The Result

The new website gave control back to intY’s marketing team. This meant that new content and updates could be created and loaded much quicker. They were also empowered by the improved content-editing tools such that they no longer needed external resources to design new pages or templates, they now had the ability to do this themselves. The team saved time and effort and the new site – thanks to the ongoing consultancy and key focus on SEO provided by The Essential Agency – performed better that the old site ever had.

“We saw improved results from better security, better SEO and a site that was quicker and easier to manage. The Essential Agency empowered us to do our jobs better and worked with us as consultants and partners, helping us to grow our skills and therefore the business.” Harriet Willshaw, Product Marketing Executive, intY
